Building a Website Yourself
You know how people make things look easy when the job actually isn’t?
With millions of websites and more being added every day, people think building a site is easy. It isn’t. Sure, you can slap together a site and have it look meh. To have a site that works for your business, you need to hire a website designer.
Most designers are working in WordPress and using templates which despite what the diehard coders say is perfectly fine.
You can customize a template to look vastly different from the template and most people could look at two web sites using the exact same template and never realize it. So don’t get hung up on that.
A good designer will take the time to get to know your business, who your clients are, why they buy, what they want, and what you want.
As a website designer and content developer, I take all of that into consideration and create a site that works for my client’s clients as well as my clients.
You can build a site yourself just like you could perform your own tooth removal but hiring it out to a professional will save you a whole lot of pain, suffering, money, and tears.
